I will no longer gate keep this place because I just want them to stay here forever. Honestly I really love this place for Chinese food. I’d say one of the best and most authentic Cantonese cuisine you can get in this area. Good portions, tasty, and fresh ingredients prepared with care and finesse. The chef is trained in China and has been cooking for decades. The custom menus and specials are one of a kind. He even let me peak at how he makes his own roast duck, char siu and roast pork belly from scratch. Just wow.

He even let me peak at how he makes his own roast duck, char siu and roast pork belly from scratch. Just wow.

The food is massive portions, fresh, and delicious. Service is polite and the atmosphere is clean. I’m writing this because I’m here with my wife and it’s empty. It’s criminal this place isn’t full all the time. This place is 100% a place to eat at.

We came here in Easter, it was delicious. We had the orange chicken which was tender and a wonderful flavor. We also had foil wrapped chicken, so good! And honey walnut prawns! I couldn’t believe how large the prawns were! And the breading and sauce was perfect! Buy my favorite was the house special chow mein! The flavor was amazing! I definitely recommend Lotus 8. We can’t wait to come back!
